I used a forum called LEASEHACKR that will tell you the GM Financial Lease rate offers and residuals they are using at the dealership so you know if you're getting a good deal.

First two dealers I visited were hundreds of dollars higher in payment on the same priced Hummer as the one I bought. This was due to them charging a money factor that equated to 7.8% even though GM was offering 5.95% on monthly payments and 4.2% on single pay lease with A-tier credit.

I even had one dealer tell me the single pay rate was the same 7.8%, which is ridiculous obviously.

I finally found an honest dealer that gave me the GM lease rates without markup.

Here are a couple of tips: You need to add $7500 to the MSRP on the calculator to get the correct residual, as GM is giving the tax credit to everyone on leases. Also, in states like Texas, where sales tax is charged on the whole sales price, GM is paying all but 1.5%, so set the sales tax to 1.5% of the total vehicle price. You can then decide whether to include in the payment or pay up front.

Finally, make sure you choose the correct program. You want the Subvented lease (which means GM subsidized residual and money factor)

GM US Buick & GMC GM Financial Supported Lease Rates - 24-40GFK
Subvented Lease

Lender: GM Financial
Expiration: 2025-01-02

However there are two of these. One is with WFP option which is the Omega option and one is without WFP. Scroll down to see if its with or without WFP

The omega units have a higher money factor (interest rate for lease) making them more expensive even if they were the same price.

Here is an example of the calculator on a 3X SUV for 36 months 12,000 miles a year, with a 120k msrp plus $7500 tax credit and sale price of 104,000

Great Post! I’ve used LEASEHACKR for years, and my Hummer lease was an incredible success! LEASEHACKR gives your potential deal a score, and of the four cars I’ve leased since subscribing, the Hummer ranks the highest. Here are two important points I’d like to add in support of this already solid post.

1. LEASEHACKR’s best data is only available to supporters. My wife and I decided to maintain our monthly contribution of $10 after saving over $400/month on our first deal. We knew we’d go back to the site for our next lease and have consistently seen similar results. Since we are always leasing two cars, it’s safe to say that LEASEHACKR is saving us at least $800/month. We want to make sure they stick around, and I hope some of you will too!
2. The LEASEHACKR calculator will help you determine what you SHOULD pay. That said, some dealers will act like you’re crazy. Getting the best deal takes time, patience, and a big search area. We split our time between Washington, DC, and Northern Vermont, so I have a broad search area. I knew exactly what I wanted and sent offers to 14 dealers. Bottomline, it takes time to get a great deal and LEASEHACKR will empower you to do just that!

Yeah, I had 3 Houston dealers refuse to give me the GM money factor. They had good discounts on the MSRP, but they were making it up on the lease rate. I got mine in San Antonio.

Drove a rental car there, they picked me up at enterprise and I drove the Hummer home.

It makes me crazy sometimes! There are dealers in my area with 2023 Platinum Lightnings! One dealer has two! I made a reasonable offer and they countered with one that clearly didn’t honor Ford’s published incentives. This was in June, those vehicles are still on the lot. I have no idea how it makes sense 🤯

Which dealer? I just picked up my Edition 1 from Cavender North.
