Time to kick off the mods, and I’m thinking of starting with a light bar.

For those running a roof-mounted light bar, how much extra wind noise does it create? I’m leaning toward the M&R front bumper-mounted light bar.

Is anyone using the M&R Hummer EV Bumper 40in Light Bar-PRO?

Not legal for use while driving. So why? Unless you're off-roading.

Off-Road, Country Roads, etc.. We have a lot of deer in our neighborhood, so when the road is empty, I want as much light as possible!

The Hummer is built for off-roading. That's its purpose.

On another note when we go to Yellowstone with my diesel truck and 37 foot camper the roof lights prove invaluable for spotting animals on the road. The road from Casper to Yellowstone is hundreds of miles of nothing but pitch-black night. You sometimes don't see another car for an hour or more. Once you get into Yellowstone you'll come across buffalo on the road every 5 miles.

Aux LIghts have their purpose, you just can't run them when other cars are on the road.

If you go with these please post a pic showing light range. I'm hesitant to go with roof mount because of wind noise and range issues. Numerous test have showng roof racks lower MPG on ice cars. My edition one came with the roof rack but I removed it.

I had a light bar like this on my Jeep. It came in so handy during lots of winter storms on tight roads.... (going less than 3 mph).

That looks cool! I just got the new 50" curved roof-mounted light bar from Oracle. The look is awesome, slim and pretty solid material, I was worried about noise too but they did a good job with the design, is super bright and it does not block my factory amber cab lights. Loving it so far!

You can read more info about it on their site here: ORACLE Hummer EV Curved Light Bar or watch their product and install video in YouTube

I wonder how much kw you lose with the oracle 50” windshield mounted lightbar?
Anyone know?
Thx

I’m a little annoyed with my oracle light. Don’t get me wrong it looks great when mounted but they don’t give you enough wire to get all the way to the other side where the 12v battery is located. I had to order additional wire that will be here tomorrow.

Can anyone post pictures once you have mounted the oracle light bar? and did you use the factory aux switches or buy the remote aux box they sell?

I’m traveling right now but I will post pictures on Tuesday when I return.

The light itself looks great on the vehicle BUT I had to modify several things to make it work. The direction were not clear at all and if you haven’t done this before you would be confused. Like I said in an earlier post the wire is way too short and I had to buy extra wire to have it reach. And the installation video where they have you run the wire from the light down between the windshield and the A pillar is easier said than done.

When I called their customer service, although they were friendly, they really weren’t helpful at all, and it felt like I was instructing them more than they were instructing me.

I have it connected to a wireless control switch panel.

Like I said, the light looks great but Oracle really needs a version two of the light make it correct.

Also, their customer service was supposed to call me back and never returned my phone Call to give additional help. Like I said, I figured it out on my own, but their customer service was subpar.
