Fyi.. I was inquiring about the vehicle to home energy system that GM has developed and the current Hummer isnt enabled for it. Other EVs like cadillac Lyric & Optic, chevy silverado and Blazer, GMC Denali, etc all are already capable. When I inquired about the Hummer they told me the 2026 Models would be enabled/capable.
The above is all I know about the 2026 Model, however as far as my desire goes, I hope they get rid of the gold trim on the interior (I think it looks tacky) and would be great if they could make it more capable for camping, such as include a solar panel connect port that could be used to recharge the battery directly from solar panels while out camping vs having to use an external battery and the regular ev charge port. It would be a trickle charge of course depending on how many panels were connected but if camping a few days with good sun conditions, it could add a few miles of charge. Additionally, a shell angled like the military hummers, which could have an opening lid with tent attachments for sleeping in the back (this would be on the Hummer truck version of course. Imagine opening the tail gate and the shell lid, and zipping in a tent to inclose the truck bed. There would be a good 7 ft of space and with an air mattress one could sleep comfortably). So if anyone from GM is listening I think this would be a game changer!!
Also, I think the base model should be the off road version and upgrades should be geared towards the bigger rims, etc...
