It’s been three months with the Hummer EV, and we’ve been enjoying every minute of it. Now, we’re in the market for my wife’s next car. We’re considering the Tesla Model 3, a pre-owned Porsche Taycan, and the BMW i4. Does anyone have advice or personal experiences with these options to share?

I think you need the new Cadillac IQ.

Hi! We have a 2023 Mustang Mach E GT. It’s a fun, practical, and excellent car. We live in the northeast corner of Vermont, right on the Canadian border, and I can confirm that with good snow tires, it’s excellent in all driving conditions. We also have loads of curvy backcountry roads, and I’ve had a lot of fun driving such a sporty car on them.

My mother has a Volkswagen ID4. It’s a good car, too, but it lacks personality.

After buying the Mustang, I rented a Tesla for a week in Florida. The only thing that impressed me was the charging, and now, with adapters for Tesla chargers in both the Hummer and the Mustang, I can confirm that Tesla charging stations are an option.

At this point, I’ve taken the Mustang on two long road trips. I never had a problem charging, and I am confident that the Mustang range estimates are accurate. I find it to be a very comfortable car in which to spend a day.

We have two dogs and our skiers. The Mustang is very capable in both areas. It’s just a really practical car that happens to be very sporty.

I’ll wrap this up by saying that a Tycan Cross Tourismo is the car I hope I can afford in July 2026 when the Mustang lease is up. If, however, I can’t, I’d buy another Mustang and be really happy about it.

My wife likes my hummer so much she wants the escalade iq, but we'll wait a year or two like we did for the hummer to get a reasonable deal.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Mach E! They have some nice discounts on them right now, as well as 0% financing. One to consider if anyone is in the market for one.

I looked at an IQ last week. The interior is super luxurious, and they seem to have great range.

I agree with you about loving my Hummer. It’s just a wonderful vehicle and I’m really enjoying it. My husband had the Tesla plaid
For 10 years and we have now given it to our son. Hubby got a Cyber truck and he thinks it’s fabulous. People either love them or hate them - doesn’t seem to be in middle ground. I’m talking looks wise.

Nice! The looks of the Cybertruck are polarizing, but it is a very good vehicle. It's much more enjoyable to drive than I thought it would be. The Cybertruck's electronics are also fun to play with.
