Hey,
I shipped a 2024 Hummer EV SUV 3x to Europe and boy did a lot of challenges come along with it
I was able to figure out the orange light blinkers and still banging my head against the remote commands and myGMC access when AT&T and OnStar are not available.
However, I now realized that when using AC charging at home, the car only recognizes one of the three phases of current, irrespective of AC charger type. I have tried Victron car charger, which successfully works with my Tesla Model X 100D (USA edition), and the GO-E Flex Chrger 22KW ( https://go-e.com/en/products/go-e-charger-gemini-flex ) which works perfectly with my Tesla. However, irrespective of what I setup to the Hummer EV, it only works with one (1) phase.
The dual level charger cord that came with the car advertises ( DUAL-LEVEL CHARGE CORD WHEN USING LEVEL 2*— 7.7 kW/32 AMPS/240 VOLTS), however this is not applicable to the grid in Europe where our 3 phase current I think was 400 Volts). So in short I cannot charge with the unit that came with the car.
Is there anything that comes to mind as why this is happening and a way for me to remedy it?
Thanks!
