GMC Hummer EV EarthCruiser Reservations Now Open

Back in August 2023, General Motors officially unveiled the GMC Hummer EV EarthCruiser, a variant of the Hummer EV Pickup designed to tackle overlanding adventures in zero-emission style. Now, reservations for the special all-electric supertruck have opened.

Through EarthCruiser’s website – the Hummer EV EarthCruiser is only available directly through the aftermarket overlanding company – prospective buyers can place a fully refundable $100 deposit to secure their spot in line. Notably, potential customers won’t be able to configure their vehicle until a later date.

It’s worth noting that the EarthCruiser upfit will not be covered by the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty, and that General Motors has claimed that it is not responsible for independent-supplier alterations.

As a reminder, the EarthCruiser package is only available for the GMC Hummer EV pickup, and features a bevy of goodies for an emission-free all-terrain experience, including:

• Integrated carbon fiber house
• 605 watts of onboard solar power, along with a 12-volt battery for an estimated seven days of off-grid electricity
• Insulated tri-layered pop-up roof
• Unique EarthCruiser interior appointment
• Curated selection of appliances, showers, 120-volt and 12-volt outlets, storage solutions and a flat-pack toilet
• RV full-size bed
• Seven-inch diagonal touchscreen control panel

The EarthCruiser made its public debut at the Overland Expo Mountain West in Colorado, and was displayed from August 25th to 27th, 2023.
