I believe that color was late availability, so they probably just haven't ramped up production with it. If they would have had it available when I bought mine, I would have definitely considered this color.

I’ve noticed that too. Since I haven’t taken it on many long trips, it hasn’t been a big issue for me, but I’d definitely like to. Keep us updated on what you find out!
