Long time Tesla owner (5 models since 2015), but now looking at SUT 3x. However, I have some questions . . .

1) Does the new 2025 SUT 3x have a 380+ mile range at base or does it require the extended battery purchase?
2) Does it come with a powered tonneau cover, or is that an extra?
3) If it doesn't come with the powered tonneau cover, is that something I can retroactively add if I find a truck that meets all other requirements?
4) Any previous Tesla owners care to comment on their experience moving to this beast?
5) Can anyone comment on current price flexibility/negotiations for purchase? Are they selling for below MSRP at this time?

Welcome to the forum!

It’s a bit odd how GM lists this on their site, but it does requires a 3x with the Ultium Battery/Extended Range option. ($9,995). Here's an example of a Hummer EV Pickup with the option:

That's an extra option as well. ($3,695.00)

3) If it doesn't come with the powered tonneau cover, is that something I can retroactively add if I find a truck that meets all other requirements?

Yes, that should be an easy add-on at anytime.

4) Any previous Tesla owners care to comment on their experience moving to this beast?

I'd be interested in this as well!

5) Can anyone comment on current price flexibility/negotiations for purchase? Are they selling for below MSRP at this time?

I've seen discounts ranging between $5000-$10,000 currently. There are definitely deals out there, especially if you can find a dealer that has quite a few sitting on the lot.

Awesome. I really appreciate the insight. Gonna set up a test drive soon!

Please let us know what you think after your test drive. I would be interested to hear your thoughts since you have a lot of experience with Tesla vehicles.
