Bi-Directional Charging

I saw on some vlog prior to the release of the Hummer EV that there would be support for bi-directional charging in 2024. Seems like that would be an excellent feature given the battery size of the Hummer. However, with no 240v outlet onboard was this just speculation? I would imagine this to be a hardware requirement in order to do it (unless there is a way to put the AUX placeholders to use)?
