It's cool that the Hummer EV SUV has a power swing gate, but is it smart enough not to open or only open as wide as it needs to in case there is a car behind it or it's backed up against a wall? I assume with a watchful eye and some force applied by hand would stop the opening wherever you need it to or do you have to plan to have the full opening space when you need it? I could see someone walking up to their SUV, open the swing gate from the remote, and realize too late that there is a car was parked too close behind. Hopefully, there is some sort of safety feature built into it other than force feedback.
yes as I thought mine was defective or having issues when it was my fault as I was too close to the wall in the garage. I pulled it up a bit and it worked perfectly.
